As a specialist in reportage or documentary style photography, my primary aim is to skillfully capture your wedding day in its most natural and authentic form, allowing the genuine emotions and special moments to unfold without interruption. While I do dedicate some time in the afternoon for your portraits, I strive to keep this section quick, easy-going, and relaxed, ensuring you enjoy your day without feeling rushed. My style is particularly suited to couples who prefer less formal wedding photography, as I also share a strong dislike for overtly posed moments and instead favor a more candid approach that reflects the true essence of your celebration.

On your big day, my primary focus is on capturing all the special moments, intricate details, and the overall essence of the celebration, creating a beautiful story that you and your loved ones will cherish for a lifetime. I work discreetly and unobtrusively, allowing you to fully relax and enjoy your wedding day surrounded by your family and friends. In fact, 90% of the time, you won't even notice me taking photos, as I aim to blend into the background. These are the candid shots that I truly love to capture, and that you will treasure for years and years to come.

As a dedicated documentary wedding photographer, I'm at my most creative and inspired when I have the freedom to roam around the wedding venue, capturing authentic and candid shots of you and your guests as you enjoy your special day. I fully understand that most weddings include some form of traditional or formal photography, and I am more than happy to oblige with these requests. However, I aim to keep this type of photography to a minimum so that you can truly focus on enjoying your day with your beloved family and joyful friends, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

For those couples who don't want any posing or portraits, I offer The Authentic Candid Photography Story package. This option is perfect for those who want to spend the entire day stress-free, enjoying their wedding without any direction from the photographer.

Same Sex Marriage

I'm proud to cater to all types of weddings and ceremonies in Northern Ireland, and I'm thrilled that same-sex marriage is now legal. Love is love, and it's an honour to capture the love between two people through photography. My partner Matt and I are fun, friendly, and open-minded, and we're truly honoured when someone chooses us to share in their special day.
